Easter

Hello friends,
Easter is on its way, have you chosen which cards you'll send to friends & family?

Chalkboard tags

Hello friends,
I've been away for a while preparing some Spring Home Deco - ideas.
These are some of the chalkboard tags I have made, they are all handpainted & hand decorated.
The actual idea was to produce some Spring time & Mother's day home deco gifts which you can personalize before giving to someone by writting on them your wishes with chalk.
The tags have 6 different sayings: BELIEVE, LOVE, JOURNEY, IMAGINE, TREASURE & CHERISH.
they measure approximately 4,5x8 inches big.
More photos will follow shortly ...

flower time

Hi all,

Today is a lovely yet a little chillie Sunday but the sun inspired me to create paper flowers.
I will show you some pics of what my paper flowers turned out like.

For these flowers I used Tim Holtz "Ideology" papers, the Tim Holtz distress inks, Heidi Swapp's color shine, my gluing gun and a few metal embellies. Yes, you guessed right, I am a Tim fan myself & I absolutely adore all his products & distressing techniques!

So a bit about them ...
First I cut out the patterns with my eclips & then I painted every layer with different colours.
I used three different layers for each flower. The Heidi Swapp's shines I used in the middle layer of each flower in order to give them a bright & sparkling effect!

After colouring, distressing & drying them with my heat gun (to speed up the process) I glued each layer on top of the other with my gluing gun.  And at the last stage, after they had dried I glued the metal embellies in the centre of each flower.

And here is the final outcome ...

have a lovely Sunday ;)

Hello friends it's been quite long since I last posted here.  Loads of things to get together, loads in mind to make & yet a lack of inspiration! oh well it happens some times  ... until ...

TODAY YEAH!!  a new idea came up while I was trying different distressing & spraying techniques.

the supplies I used to make this vintage art frame are:
  • Ranger Tim Holtz distressing inks (antique linen, gathered twigs, walnut stain, black soot)
  • Heidi Swapp Color Shine mists (sweet cherry, amethyst, mustard & chartreuse)
  • Ranger Dyilusions mist (melted chocolate)
  • Tim Holtz Idea-Ology washy tapes (symphony, nostalgic)
  • Scrap papers, glue, brads, and Glossy accents
tell me what you think?
thanks for visiting

it's tea time ...

Hi there friends,
This afternoon I remembered that I never posted photos of my cute tea pot for you to see.
I must admit that the "eclips" helps amateurs like myself do miracles! I could have never imagined that I could make such cute projects with just the use of paper & glue :)
What do you think of my tea pot?

Restart

Hello dear friends, it's been a while since I last wrote on my blog, I hope you are all very well & that the New Year will bring 2013 amazing moments in our lives!
After all the excitement & preparations of a full Christmas scrapping & paper works period now comes a time of "Restart" - a time to reorganize & reconstruct my thoughts & inspirations as well as the tidying up of all my tools and supplies.

During this quiet period of time I decided to Refresh some frames I had at home. These frames had two identical minimal shapes as pictures which I had grown bored of through the years. I wanted our frames at home to project more personal moments, pictures of trips filled with beautiful memories, so I got into a bit more scrappin' and this is what I came up with ...

The finished result was more impressive than expected, these frames have now added an interesting touch to the room, and I can't help noticing them every time I walk in.  A few creative hours actually resulted in a successful project, a little something which has added lots of smiles in our daily routine. It's real! it's the little things that matter.
Till we speak again have a lovely day
love
M.
